Gagaku
Gagaku is a form of traditional music developed in Japan, and was registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009. It could even be said that gagaku is music that represents Japan. It was performed during rituals in official places such as the Imperial Court, and shrines and temples. Kariginu
Kariginu is traditional Japanese clothing. This served as the casual clothing of the nobility, but was eventually worn by high-ranking warriors and Shinto priests. Unlike yukata and other common Japanese-style clothing, kariginu are only seen in limited settings, such as when they are worn by Shinto priests at shrines.
